Professional in-office teeth whitening is a simple, effective, and safe procedure that our trained dental staff can do in our clinic. Your dental professional will start by covering up your gums and lips, leaving only your teeth exposed. They will then apply a hydrogen peroxide gel onto your teeth, which is exposed to a special LED light. The light activates the gel, which works to break apart the carbon bonds that create discoloration and staining on teeth. The process is safe and does not affect or damage the structure of your teeth. The most common side effects are short term: sensitive teeth and irritated gums.  The entire process usually takes approximately 60 minutes and is repeated 3-4 times for the best results and a brighter and whiter smile!

Professional take-home teeth whitening kits are a safe and effective way to brighten your teeth in the privacy, comfort, and convenience of your own home. Our team will send you home with custom plastic trays created using impressions of your own teeth, along with a hydrogen peroxide gel. You simply fill the trays with the gel and apply it over your teeth for 30 minutes two times a day until the desired results are achieved. Most patients see excellent results within one to two weeks, although individual results can vary.

Teeth whitening is not for everyone. It is not appropriate for teeth that are demineralized or have decay or are very sensitive. Additionally, it does not whiten existing restorations (such as fillings or crowns). For teeth with traumatic injuries, fluorosis or gray coloring, the results may be inadequate.
